Replacing Wheel Studs

i just did this the other day and couldnt get my hub off either. i cut a small sliver off the end of the stud so it would slide right in without taking the hub off. noticed all my other studs were like that too so the mechanic before me had the same plan.

if there on the rear its easier to do. the front is the issue. i was missing 2 on the left and one on the right front for awhile, till i gave it a shot

shoot i think i'll wait til there's an actual diy with pics to attempt the replacement myself haha.

Get a tap & dye set, re-thread the stud. and call it a day! 20 minutes tops. that's what I did. cost me $0 since I had a dye set. but if you need one, you can get a set for about $20 at autozone. i believe the size is a 10? I gotta double check.
