Every time I start my car (cold or hot) the rpms go up then drop down to like 3 or 2 thousand like it wants to stall then it jumps back up to idle. Even when pushing the throttle at idle it goes up and when it falls it almost stalls but never does. Anyone ever come across this issue. I tried the so called idle relearn (letting it idle for 15 mins after dropping the battery) and it still does it.

I experience it on hot starts. I've cleaned it all. Down to 300 RPMs and back up. But it is literally the only "issue" the car has so I am not sure.

Does your low oil pressure light flash when it does it? Does it do it whenever you idle, or just on startups?

If you're in neutral and rev it up to 3k-3.5k rpms and completely let off the gas, does it drop down to 800 or 300?

All I can muster is that something isn't being fed enough on startup. Honda fuel pumps aren't known to go bad. I guess you could try priming it before starting to see if that helps. Maybe even an extremely clogged air filter?

Drops to 800 after rev when warmed up. Otherwise, it returns to the 1200 range. Fresh air filter. Even on prime, it does this. Again, it isn't a big deal. It is just something that happens.

You should try cleaning the throttle body and/or the Idle Air Control valve. Scotty Kilmer has a good YouTube video "How to fix a car that idles poorly"
