Well I just got a letter today saying that there was defect for the airbag in the 01-02 accord. Probably not your fix, but it says stuff about metal fragments going through the air bag and hitting the passengers inside. So if you have that year accord I say stop by the dealership and ask about the airbag problem. Says repair is free of charge. Might actually solve your problem.
