2008 Honda Ruckus. Purchased summer of 2009 with 1347 miles on the odometer, currently sitting at 11,800. Knocks down 90-100mpg, currently cruises at 40mph, 45 tops with me on it. Thing is an absolute tank. I have been far from easy on this thing in the almost 9 years of ownership. Trails, railroad yards, ramps, jumping curbs, see's rain and snow multiple times seasonally, etc all while being 20lbs over what Honda lists as the maximum rider weight of 220lbs.

    So far I've done:
    -Two Brothers Exhaust
-Stock airbox delete. Now utilizing a Taurus upper radiator hose with a waterproof cone filter.
    -re-jet carb
    -Polini variator
    -Polini contra spring
    -Honda Aero125 rear shock

I run Mobil One High Mileage 10w30 oil and Royal Purple 75w-90 gear oil in the cvt. Other than oil, trans fluid, and spark plug changes in the time I have owned it I have done:

    -1 set of tires
    -1 battery
    -1 drive belt
-both front and rear brake shoes
-1 stock exhaust system (stocker broke at the midpipe)

They're a blast, even stock. Wouldn't go to the extent a lot of people do with them, but the aftermarket support is very stout too

Cool bike. Where do you carry the beer on it though?

    Thanks guys!

A 6 pack or (2) 40's do fit nicely in the underseat storage bag :waytogo:
