dude, you know i have much respect for you but i think either you are 1. extremely gullible 2. paid/discounted product to promote amr 3. need to get off this guy's nuts.

The guy lied about shipping canadians84's coils, lied about being a customer on g20.net. He's been CAUGHT redhanded twice, how many other time has he lied and gotten away with it. lol. Honestly, I can't trust a word coming from this guy's mouth. I srsly doubt he'll honor the "lifetime warranty" 5-6 years or whatever down the line should his business still exist. In my mind, dude is a complete joke. /rant
Larry as do I. One thing though is that I'm just trying to keep things balanced because as you have seen on many forums, when one person goes off it becomes a ****storm because everyone else just follows in their wake. Even your Tein Basics that you had utilize parts made in China and Taiwan. I'm not saying that the product is perfect because we've all had a couple issues with them, but I do think that the quality is better than most coilovers in many aspects in my opinion. I never was paid to promote the product and I got a discount just like everyone who participated in the group buy. I'm not swinging from Andy's nuts either, just voicing my opinion.

I can't speak for the other stuff since I wasn't a part of that and it is questionable I agree with you there. As for the lifetime warranty, if you make it past one year you're already better off than any other brand out there because they all offer a one year warranty anyways, so what's your point?

Lol, I'm sorry, but it's ridiculous how much denial you are in over these coilovers. You're the perfect customer. You spend $1500, wait 6 months, put up with a knocking noise you can't identify, and brush off an unsafe product malfunction because it's totally acceptable to use an aluminum bolt to save 10 cents in a $1500 package haha.

But hey, at least you have that lifetime warranty. And if you ever needed to use it, you're already used to waiting for months to have the product show up!

Plenty of people and businesses make mistakes, or oversee something in their product, the difference in my opinion is that for some reason everyone provides excuses for AMR, and Andy always has some complicated reason for things, rather than just owning up to a mistake lol. My Teins have 70,000 miles on them and I've never had an issue. You guys have maybe 500 miles on your coilovers that you spent at least $350 more for haha, and you are all having random noises you can't diagnose and parts literally breaking off now. But AMR is supposed to be "top-notch quality" lol.
Just pointing out the obvious man. I had Teins that didn't have issues for a while too. Nobody spent 1500 dollars on theirs so I don't know where you pulled that figure from. I'm not denying anything because my coilovers are just like Slava's, with the exception to that my screws aren't busted.

you are SUPER lucky these aren't M7 thread. them *****es are impossible to find. google it and see :lawl:

why would they not be of a stronger material? aren't lower quality materials "left" for the F2s, et al, which was touted?

this isn't trolling, by the way. i dont have a problem with foreign stuff if its made right. this is one of those times when an extra 10 cents per screw shouldn't be an afterthought.

FF, ksport, d2, Megan, tein and no headache and problems like AMR. But maybe from a stiff and bumpy ride instead. LOL!!!!!

If these coilovers are top dollar quality like Andy states, why would he cheap out on an aluminum screw? At least buy stainless steel one or galvenized steel. We are talking about a dollar or 2 difference here. That's a fraction of what he sold the coilovers for.

EXACTLY!

I now have exactly 50,000 miles on my Koni/H&R setup and I've never had a single issue with them, besides my bumpstops being destroyed (which was my own fault).

The thing is, you guys paid top dollar for some coilovers you believed are top of the line because, what, the owner of the business said they were? Hello, he's trying to make money. This is the #1 reason I try to buy from companies that have a long history, recommendation from their customers, and great customer support.

my point is that i'm tired of hearing you preach and praise about these coils for x amount of months when you've only had them recently. There's a difference in owning a set on your daily and riding shotgun in your friend's ride equipped with amr's. Andy's a big boy, i wanna hear from him why his screw are breaking, not from you. :)

Sorry, I shouldn't have made it personal, just in a bit of disbelief I guess. I honestly wish none of this had happened to all you guys, after all the suspense I was expecting a lot of rave reviews. AMR's had been my planned upgrade if my SS's ever went. I just know I would be livid by now and you have the patience of a saint lol.
