Spam Musubi, only cool if you eat it in hawaii. Ingredients: Spam, Steamed rice, shoyu, brown sugar, cooking oil, dried seaweed/nori. Sliced spam into whatever thickness desired. Fry with lil bit shoyu and brown sugar till carmelized. Put on a steam riced shaped same as the spam. Then wrap it with dried seaweed/nori. Then just eat it while forgetting its a spam.
ramen + egg... LOL... or egg alone... sunny side up or scramble... LOL... jkjk make fried rice... always my favorite... rice, egg, oil, your choice of meat( spam/cornet beef), soy sauce (if ur indonesian then go for kecap manis ABC if not then ur stuck with chinese soy sauce) salt, pepper, and the best ingredience : MSG .... LOL... don't put too much... or you'll be so thirsty after it... enjoy... and don't say you can't make it... my lil sister who was 11 can make it... now she is 13...
lol roy here we go... maruchan = terrible...if you cant afford the good stuff (nong shim, mama, indomie etc)...just dont eat mmmk? or dig a couple more nickels out of the seat cushions... throw some frozen veggies in the microwave when the ramen is done...awesome...i like the cauliflower/broccoli/carrot blend myself... everyone needs a pizza oven...fast, cool, and doesnt dry out like oven pizza. stock up on non-perishables when on sale...like soup 10/$10, or cereal 6/$10. doesnt matter if you dont need 10 cans of soup right now...as long as you use em before they expire, itll save you money. dont buy stuff at regular price unless its cheap, never goes on sale, or you need it. oh and spices (especially salt n pepa ) go a longggggg way.
Raw Tofu, good anytime snack. Easy recipe to impress GF or wife or any chick. Just dont forget to tell them its healthy for their b00bies and Vah-jayjay! Ingredients: Tofu (firm or soft), greenstems of onion, shoyu, ginger roots, ground pepper, sesame oil, olive oil, red wine vinegar. Sliced cold tofu into 1 inch cubes. Then place on a flat mini plate. Chop the stems into rice grain size bits. Grate a little bit of the ginger roots without the skin. Then garninsh with the Tofu. Mix 3 tblspn shoyu, 1 tspn sesame oil, 1 tspn olive oil, 1/8 tspn vinegar and a dash of ground peppercorns in a bowl. Then pour with onto the tofu. Then eat w/ chopsticks for that mild JDM experience.
Angel Hair w/ oil and Garlic 8 ounces angel hair pasta 1/4 olive oil 2 -3 large cloves of garlic, minced Grated Parmesan cheese Boil the water for the pasta and heat the oil in a small pan. When the water boils and you add your pasta, stir it quickly so it doesn't stick. Add the minced garlic to the oil. Do not overheat or the garlic will taste bad. You just want it softened and warmed. Drain the pasta. Mix with the oil and garlic and top with grated Parmesan cheese.
E-Z Mochiko Garlic Chicken, yes at least you know its real chicken. Ingredients: Chicken breasts w/ or w/o the skin, rice flour, garlic cloves peeled and chopped, cooking oil, shredded cabbage, Salt and pepper to taste, half tspn brown sugar, Sliced lemon for garnish. Sliced chicken into 2 inch parts rounded. Bread them in rice flour with salt and pepper. Deep fry until golden brown. Place on a plate on top of the shredded cabbage. Put aside. For the sauce heat oil in pan. Caramelize the brown sugar then stir in garlic but dont let them get burned. Pour on top of the Mochiko chicken the top with sliced lemons. Enjoys that sweet chewy succulent texture.
Kalbi beef, Korean short ribs. Ingredients a pack of sliced unfrozen kalbi ribs. A two equal parts of shoyu and brown sugar, shopped garlic, pepper, grated ginger roots. Any type of grill. Mix all the ingredients in a bowl. Marinate for at least a whole day in the fridge. Whenever you are hungry just set the grill place the kalbi ribs. Cook them the same way you cook a steak. Eat with Kim chee if you like.
Sandwich 2 pieces of bread Put mayonnaise (one piece) Put mustard (one piece) Fill with meat, get pre cut (ham, turkey, or anything you like) Add 2-3 slices of cheese From there get creative-tomato, lettuce, peppers, etc. For real, easy one, so good though.... Easy Quesadilla Get GOOD tortillas, flower or corn, just get good ones. Get some pepper jack cheese. Throw cheese in tortillas. Add jalapenos if you like Add very small amounts of diced tomotes/onions if you like, small amounts though. Add left over steak or chicken if you have it Put in toaster oven (or fry), no other way. Top it with salsa verde (only good stuff) Very simple, not exotic, takes 2 min to prepare, 5 min to cook, so good, and if you make it for somebody else, they probably won't think you are that lazy since it really is good tasting.
ghetto tacos 1 pack of hamburger 1 box of Zatarans rice (any flavor) tortillas sour cream cheese whatever else.. cook hamburger, start cooking rice, when both are done cooking, mix into one pan and heat a little longer serve in a tortilla with some cheese, sour cream whatever other topping you need. cost: under $20.00 makes enough to last a few days and actually tastes great.
