I'm still real hung up on the Zac Brown Band, mostly because there's no good new music out and because they are so talented.
Lights cd has been playing constantly in my car for the past few days. Her new album should be due soon
Looking up concerts today got me thinking...where's the best place to see a concert? type of venue? specific venue?
I prefer smaller places that are standing room only with a small bar and a stage that takes up an entire wall. The Masquerade in Atlanta is one of the better places I've seen a show, 2 stories and a little bit of everything. Great concert room, full bar below and a club room below as well. There's a great place in Austin that's out in the middle of nowhere but the stage is outside under a bunch of giant trees and at night it is a wonderful place to see a show. Perfect atmosphere and has plenty of places for people to stand
I just saw Nero last night at an outdoor venue. Perfect weather, just a little bit chilly but the dubstep was out of control. So much fun.
