Tire size...does that matter?

Hey all, i had picked up a set of used bf-goodrich drag radials i think.. and they are i think 225/45/zr18's is the stock width 215? just wondering anyway they are bigger then stock...got em for 80 bucks and wanted to know will i rub... i have s tech springs...thanks for the info...and yes i have 18' rims lol

i think stock is 195.... and iono about 225/45/.... but i have 225 and 40 it didn't rub... not yet at least. same on s techs btw.

all depends off the width and offset...
im running 18's but i had to stretch and go a lower profile

whats your width and offset on your wheels

stock is:

195/65 on 4 bangers
205/65 on v6's

i ran a 215 with my 17x7's, but i wanted to do a 225.

but yea, your 225/45 will fit in fine. what wheels are you putting them on?

width won't matter as much as the thickness. I think at that thickness, you speedo will be off by a few miles.
