now frankly the "dump you car" comments are getting kinda old, and i already know there will be a bunch of them in this thread and/or any other photo thread i make.
so heres the deal, i am showing you why my car is at the height it is currently sitting at. I want to go lower, but im kind of afraid to.
Naturally the j32 oil pan is lower then a j30's, its just the design of it. its 1/4"-1/2" lower. then add the 1/2" or so that i cut the innovative mounts to have the hood shut.
now slammed people will say their cars oil pan sits lower then this, but
1) theyre not in this area dealing with the pot holes, uneven pavements, hills etc
2) if they are, their oil pan is protected by their subframe.. mine is not.
as you can see i've already hit the j-pipe on the floor which is only about a 1/2" lower then the oil pan.
and you can see here, in the past wayyyyy before swaps, i've hit the subframe on the floor at my old height..
now if i were to hit that subframe again it would be bad news for me.
Im trying to avoid this from happening to me again..
