so can you guys give me some name brands so i can look into them. cause i searched a lot and there are all these names and i dont know which is good and which is not.

It looks very cheap... and it is. We told you not to cheap out on a tripod, the thing can't even hold over 8 pounds.

why not just use the stock 055xprob head?

Because good tripods are sold in separate pieces... Legs and head. I have the 055 I believe with a smith/victor head and love it. Very sturdy and it was like $200 for the whole setup

oh i see.i was thinking about the 055 leg and 488 head and it comes to almost 300. >< how much can your set up hold?
