truck opinions

wsup guys, i have to ask for opinions from people i know know more than i do...

so here goes the situation:

moms is looking for a DD truck with beater intentions but moderate B-C+ rank quality (on a A-F scale)...shes looking for a 4-seater with an asian model preference (think tacoma).

this is where yall come in:

Give me opinions on various trucks that would suit this woman's needs, or trucks i should avoid. and for brownie points, please throw in why/why not and things i should look for that wouldnt be considered as much when your trying to buy a car.

the most it will tow (i mean carry..she aint towin **** i believe) is people, plants, and furniture. nothing heavy duty...i hope

you can get a tacoma, but you might want look into beefing up the rear suspension just in case if she takes a load a tad bit to heavy for it.

thx, probably wont be needing to...she wont tote what she cant lift, but i dont think a mattress or bed set would do anything that bad.

Budget is another question.

I'd suggest a used 2000-01 V8 magnum Ram. Great truck for the money. Looks good on the outside, has power, easy to use, and meets or exceeds mediocre interior requirements. Can be had for under $7k.

If she wants cheaper....Ford Ranger?
