Urgent! I need help estimating something.

if it was me i wouldnt put the used trans into a car. I would get a shop to rebuild the other cars transmission. it may cost you a little bit more to do but at least while your as school you wont have to worry about the transmission going out on you.

i say... get rid of ur car...sell it cheap... buy the 1000 dolla car that u stated... if trans gone... go with 6spd and call it a day...

if not... just buy a better car with a better condition
