After going to the garage with my digital scale, I decided to weigh my stock wheels.

    ***NOTE***
This is for a 6thgen Accord 4cyl EX with a tire size of 195/65/15 and alloy rims

The weight of the stock wheels are 19LBS each.
My current stock wheel/tire combo weighs in at 42LBS. each
which leaves the weight of the tire at 23LBS.
The average weight of a stock wheel/tire combo should be between 40-45LBS depending upon the size and brand of the tire.

    Nah.
They are 15" alloy rims for the EX 4cyl model.

It's safe to say 14" steelies are about 30-39lbs with tires

    Oh.
Then your steelies might weigh the same at the EX/SE wheels.
Of course alloys look better than steelies:rock:

damn.... I used to have 17's that weighed 13 lbs. apiece! They didn't deal too well with NJ roads though... :bash:

My sportmax 17x9's were like 17-18lbs, but took all the abuse i could toss at them.

I parked the lip on a curb one day, the tire was touching nothing but air, all the weight of the L/R of my car was on the outer lip. Minor scratching, no bends.
