Not what your parents let you drive in when they'd take you out...I mean what did the borderline suicidal instructor that showed up at your house pull into your driveway with? And what year did you learn to drive?

I was taught in this piece in 1998 I think it was. 1994 Ford Tempo...mediocrity at its best. :lawl:

Ford sure knows how to suck the potential fun out of Driver's Ed. lol

Best part was when he told me to shift into reverse, look behind me, and step on it. I had been waiting my whole life for those three magic words. lol

Ha the Taurus name died when that bubble came out in 1996, the name still doesn't mean what it used to. What year did you learn to drive btw?

    What? I didn't get to do J-turns...

Yea, seems to be the trend with newer renditions of cars that I grew up with; very uninspired. I took the class in 2008, I believe. I was seventeen and then didn't end up getting my license until 19. I worked close to home and road my bike everywhere to save up for my 98 Sedan and college.

The instructor stopped me short of a J-turn, unfortunately. He couldn't fault me, though, as I was following his exact instructions. lol

I also learned in a Ford Taurus. Oh god was that thing slow.... I went through drivers Ed in 2012 I think haha. My first freeway drive was in the Taurus and it was pissing rain and I was stuck between two semis. My instructor said legally he can't let me speed but if he was me he would rather kill himself haha.

I got it when i was 17 and it survived multiple drives from Wisconsin to California, I sold it 3 or so years ago to a buddy out here. He surprised me and drove it out a couple weekends ago. She's still alive and kickin!

I took driver's ed in a 2008ish Toyota Yaris. However I took the final test in my own first car, a Granny-Gold 1994 Lexus ES300.

My drivers ed class was done in a school-owned mid 2000s Chevy impala (maybe Malibu?). Boring car, but at least it's easy to drive
