-20...warmed up to 0 today...

Winchill advisory till sometime tomorrow. Frozen fuel lines FTL

Eh..ya...couple cranks, car started, then stalled out. Wouldnt start for 10min then finally got it to start. It has a new battery so I know that wasnt it.

Last year I couldnt get it to start for 6 hours. Thankfully it was the weekend.

Does Ohio (or Akron, more specifically) not switch to a winter blend of gas?

Maybe? Maybe not?


I would assume so, but who knows. Its fairly unusual for us to get below freezing temps like we've had lately.

That's what I was thinking... because here in MN we switch over to a winter blend and we've been much colder than you guys and I havent had any issues whatsoever. Leads me to believe that they dont in your area.

got called up early today :madrun: so i couldnt take any more

hopefully tomorrow something will still be there...its supposed to be 22 zomg :run: 1-3" of snow though

Exactly the reason I just filled up when the car was on a 1/4 tank. Haven't had that issue here, but we don't get -30C temps on a regular basis here. When I was in University in Ottawa, in Feb it was often -50C with the windchill. Feb was alsways the worst month to be there.
