get it professionally painted, and put some 3m clear bra over it. no chips and looks better than ghetto *** spray canning it.​

You should use Plasti Dip. If you don't like it you can just peel it right off. Plus, it will stretch because it is closer to a rubber as well! AFIK, matte black, matte white and matte red are the only colors i know of though.. if any of those suit your needs, give it a try!

my lip was painted professionally by the body shop after my accident, yes the paint chipped and eventually i just scraped it all off.. but some of these answers i read here made a good point, as long as it doesnt bend as much (which is hard for lowered cars) since we have to go through speedbumps and driveways, and the suggestion of clear bra wasn't a bad idea either... but i liked the look of my lip plasti-dipped black since my car is black, flows well.. good luck on your project regardless!
