I've got no problems with an american company making a sport-tuned monster power SUV that kicks the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and BMX X-5's butt. Good for them. I like it when an American car company makes something we can be proud of, and SRT leads the way IMO. What's so cool about it is that they put a lot of engineering into the brakes, suspension, steering and pedal feel too. It is a well rounded performance machine.
As far as the function, it's been proven there's a market, so why not?
