the design is fantastic in my opinion. it fits in a standard 17" opening instead of being round and bulbous. kinect looks amazing and will fit in with the trend of sharp corners in all parts of a home entertainment center, and wont look out of place below a soundbar. the controller is literally the most comfortable out there (used to be a PS fan back before the S model of original xbox controllers came out ) so im not surprised they kept the design. i am surprised they didnt integrate more...controls...like the Wii U and PS4 have little screens/inputs. here's why i probably wont be getting one, even though im a huge fan of the 360: 1. "cloud based" = an internet connection always required, even for single player games (98% certainty) 2. games will either come with a physical code or the console will recognize each disc individually. that means, no used games, no borrowing games... so what say you?
