the design is fantastic in my opinion. it fits in a standard 17" opening instead of being round and bulbous. kinect looks amazing and will fit in with the trend of sharp corners in all parts of a home entertainment center, and wont look out of place below a soundbar.

the controller is literally the most comfortable out there (used to be a PS fan back before the S model of original xbox controllers came out :ugh:) so im not surprised they kept the design. i am surprised they didnt integrate more...controls...like the Wii U and PS4 have little screens/inputs.

here's why i probably wont be getting one, even though im a huge fan of the 360:
    1. "cloud based" = an internet connection always required, even for single player games (98% certainty)
    2. games will either come with a physical code or the console will recognize each disc individually. that means, no used games, no borrowing games...

    so what say you? :smash:

nope, done with it after reading about lock downs on used games

because naturally, we should be forced to buy games brand new every single time whether you like it or not

same kind of logic having tards behind why Diablo III became a massive fail to me and always will be

    meanwhile in Sony land...perfection incoming

Meh. For what this thing is going to cost, no thanks. The design does look good though.

Forcing people to buy new games is pathetic if that's true, especially since XB1 games will probably make the normal $10 jump, putting new games at $70. That is getting absurd imo.

And why make me have an internet connection when playing campaign in an FPS or any other single player game mode? What if I simultaneously am playing a game at my grandma's house in the boonies, while not giving a single fack about achievements or rubbing my game progress in my friend's faces? My expensive *** XB1 has suddenly become a beautiful paperweight. :lawl:

For the most part I've always gotten excited about new console releases and usually upgraded. But honestly I'm still happy with my 360 250GB.

Love my 360 but I can't shell out the $for the new system. I only play used games. It's the only way I can really justify the purchase these days. I have to many things going on in the real world to drop 70 bones on a game. Good news is old 360 games will be getting cheap and that will keep me happy for awhile.

    Hmm...

Another downside is that Kinect apparently has to be hooked up to the console for you to use it. Motion based feedback and voice rec is cool, I appreciate the tech...but honestly I'm not interested in it when I play a game. And I have to pay for it?

*edit according to This, it is still unclear

    PS4 all day.

Would never even consider an Xbox :lawl:

Since my PS3 kicked the bucket after 5 or 6 years of faithful use back in like January, I haven't even played a single video game anywhere :lawl:

Why do people come up with the same rumors. I would love to see some hard information showing that it will be incapable to play older games and used games. Also, PS4 is going to be more of a gaming system. While the xbox is going to be an entertainment system.
