Oh just everything I've posted so far haha. I mean it's fine if you're okay with putting up with all the BS and not owning your own games, etc. Licensing is the way of the future for games since they're becoming more integrated, I just don't like to see more power being taken away from gamers. And I'm also against technology needlessly advancing for the sake of advancing...some things are fine the way they are. It works, leave it alone.

Don't get me wrong, I like MS. I like W7, and I like my 360. I just don't like XB1, I think the wrong moves are being made.

PS vs Xbox arguments are retarded. They both have their advantages/disadvantages. All depends on what you want out of the system and what you use it for. It's like the age old Mac vs PC debate...who F'ing cares. Different people have different preferences, it's simply two different ways of going about something.

I'm sorry I didn't read that last thing you said earlier Chris, because there isn't a debate for Mac vs. PC.

It's PC, all the time, every time, because the debate is always centered around gaming :haysm9:

    In other news: http://kotaku.com/microsoft-is-removing-xbox-one-drm-514390310

Uh huh, so what they'll do is remove it for about six months after release to boost sales, then stick it back in and sucker all those people into buying their console.

    Oh yes, this is happening.

If there is a game centered debate, I couldn't agree more. It was always that way with software in general too, until Mac finally got an Intel processor, haha. I'm a PC person myself, I dislike Apple but I've seen where they both have their uses. Anyway.

I find it hilarious. Problem is you still have to buy a Kinect, which still has to be connected in order for the console to work, and many people don't want that. If they got rid of that and lowered thep rice $100 as a result...I'd consider it. But ultimately I'd still buy a PS4, forces no BS and it's cheaper.

Even with the changes, MS really turned me off with all that BS. The thought they could manipulate people and they got burned. I'm glad people showed them they can't just do whatever they hell they want.

They're trying to be too edgy and innovative, and failing on all fronts. They should just use recent graphics and processing technology to unleash a new wave of games that require said tech, and that's it.

Nintendo is without a doubt the only game company I've ever seen mass market edgy innovation into their products and it actually turn out well.

So I don't know why their have their heads so far up their asses with stupid ideas about this console, they basically did fine with the 360.

Oh wait, no I know why. They got landslided for the most part by Sony during the PS3 days despite there being more online 360 fanboys than PSN ones, and in doing so they worked up fear that Sony would smack them up again.

BECAUSE THAT'S NOT ALL THE HAPPENING AGAINS EVER NOW.

uh, you told us this would happen? lol

when was that...? cause according to you your cutoff date was E3. Well that came and went, and that's when the big reveal was a letdown :lawl:

I'm telling you (and I will say "see told you" and have it mean something) they're going to pull the rug out from under people after a few months of release. Work in drm somehow.

It's so clockwork for their rationale to do it; being the incompetent, backpedaling fools they've made us all an audience to. Personally I really like my 360, and I loved my original Xbox, but they forced themselves into being viewed this way.

and see what's fantastic is because of this, we get the true scum of society coming out of the woodwork to say gems like this:

    *sigh* Literally kill yourself.

End your life and stop spreading "I know all the knows about this so much more than anyone my age, because I'm a seer that sees into the future of gaming. Why would we want just a gaming system? Why would we want it to play games like it's predecessor did just fine? WHO WOULD WANT MERE NORMAL STUFF LIKE THAT" stupidity that hardcore.

You brave little tin-hat wearing soldier, almost wanting to do that in protest. Again, kill yourself.

*additional wtf and demands of death, coupled with wonderings of how in the living fuck this person ever survived any gaming anywhere in the 80s-90s*

*wait, answered my own pondering...this is clearly someone under the age of 12 that said this*

now the ball is in sony's court, since they are leaving DRM policies up to the game publisher :coffee: they haven't said "there will be no DRM" yet.

oh, and i posted in the shouthread earlier...but i will be getting a one since these events have transpired.

they probably will have a better online following, and that's what you're into too

on the other hand, a lot of cross platform titles, half being no drm/half being who knows if this will be drm from MS only, is a bit risky

like if a year from now, they pull the drm wool over everyone, that's going to create mad backlash, but much stupider corporate blunders have happened when people get pressured or offered money and it still went through whether people liked it or not

personally I really love the complaint about lending games and having the disc in the drive:

    1. that many people lend their games all over the place enough they can't hand a game to someone? this has been standard practice since Atari here people....so wtf.

additional wtf, don't you have other games in your library? You have to be playing it the same time as your friend? I mean if you're so poor you love buying all games new and hate buying used, then aren't you so poor you wouldn't have that massive a game collection? Logic gap here

    2. you can't simply walk to your console and insert a disc....? really...?

that's just lazy as shit and entitled, thinking the future means you can not only not give a crap about your future careers out of high school (well documented surveys have been made for the last three years proving this, all the reports are up on at least four major news networks of the results) but ALSO you can't do simple things like STANDING UP FROM A CHAIR, AND WALKING A COUPLE FEET. I'm supposed to believe we're advancing gaming because those "issues" are now solved? (except not apparently) Hilarious.

Like I said, that was simply a case of technology evolving for the sake of evolving, without cause or necessity. And not to mention those DRM regs were only beneficial to MS and not their consumers, they should have known it was a failed idea from the moment some suit suggested it in a conference room. Now they have ticked people off for no reason. Well I guess there is still a reason since you’re still forced to pay for a Kinect. :lawl:

What most gamers want in a next-gen console is good design, better performance, and convenient features. That’s all they've have wanted for years, and it’s worked all this time and sold millions of consoles. Sony knows this. MS interpreted that as hey let’s reinvent the wheel, and make it square.

It’s going to get to a point where, if MS wants to gear their console more toward entertainment than gaming, they need to market two different pieces of electronics. Not everyone wants to pay for a “do everything box” when they simply want to play their games. But since they lose money on consoles in general, that probably won’t happen.

woke up this morning Chris, still laughing like hell at that douche who commented about how it's a bad thing to want a new console to have better performance and not have drm or the stupid little features that have been mentioned that are pointless :lawl:

the entire reason for all the gimmicks is to stand apart from the PS4...because they know it'll curb stomp their sales if it's just a bare bones "performance vs performance" battle like Sony always has, yet these fanboys come up with the most absurd nonsense to bash their system with, even to the point of just being obtuse about reality :lawl:

and then they blame Sony fanboys for why the Xbox One is ruined. I thought it was made completely better, am I missing something or did IQ's just suddenly drop?
