issue appears to be resolved? After pulling my fuses this morning, I decided to try jumping it again tonight. Started up with no issues after a few minutes of charging. Drove around the block, seems good. Gonna check it again in the morning. to be continued i suppose...

nope. still screwed. drove it to work yesterday, came home on lunch. turned it off. ran to the gas station, turned it off, came back and when i went to leave, nothing again. tried jumping again and still nothing. seems to be i have a loose connection somewhere or a short. suck.

It's not a parastitic issue or a starter/alternator. You have a loose connection on one of two fuses in the underhood fuse box. Either the one that feeds the passengers side fuse box or the ignition switch. Its that simple. I'm willing to bet that if you turn the headlight switch on the hids will come on but not the tail lights.
