Yakima Y Clips

Does anyone have experience with older Yakima roof racks with Y clips and not Q clips? Y clips were discontinued in the late 1990s before the 6th gen came out. Yakima doesn't list any applications for it.

Unfortunately I found this out after buying the rack... I want to try and salvage the buy before selling it on and starting over with the newer Q towers.

i have a set off sst towers and Y clips. unfortunately i bought them off ebay thinking they were Q towers as i knew very little then and they look similar. if i recall correctly they stop making sst towers/y clips in 96. so if your car is 97 and up there is no Y clips for it.
i say you sell it and just get some Q towers.
