Fully understandable. were just tryin' to get you the best setup possible for 1k. what that dude @ find it all stereo recommended is not worth 800 .

hm, okay i'm open for suggestions then now. sorry for being so..ignorant eggy
so can you help me out with a good set up

6 1/2 speakers-
6x9 speakers -
HU-
Sub 12 Single-
4 ch or 2 ch. amp-

for my budget..please leave about 160 for installation costs. my budget is 800-1k

mb quart dsc 280 $75 does 80x 2@ 4 ohm.
1 alpine type r 10" $129
mb quart dsc 500.1 $112

Comes out to 540..

No i don't have this setup. put something similar in my friends prelude and it sounded good and got loud.

my setup is
kenwood dnx 8120
morel tempo 6 comps
sundown 125.2
12" ssa xcon(box is 3.5 cubes @ 32hz)
audioque 2200d

lemme get you some links and reviews to the products.

I forgot to add 3 important things. box, sound deadening, and electrical. Before you get the system, you need to prep it. Install some sound deadening and do the big 3.

as for the box i'd go ported. i recommend 1.5 cubes before sub & port displacement tuned @ 36hz. The shop you went to will more than likely build the box for you, but they'll charge you and arm and a leg. whatever you do, DO NOT buy a prefab box.

okay thanks, so the mistake i think i was making was getting coaxials..
so i'll look into components.

so don't replace back speakers? but what if right now .. my stock system i hear crackles lol doesn't that mean if i replace the front speakeres only that the back will still crackle pop?
