I removed my Egr to clean it and noticed there is no gasket. Is this ok? Looks to be ok.
I cleaned the egr ports with brake cleaner and cleaned the port near the intake as well.
Should a gasket be in place?

Hi everyone,
I had a shop that was working on my transmission and stated i have an oil leak coming from the back of the engine.
Its a 98 accord v4 ulev motor.
I thought it was from the valve cover gasket but apparently its coming from a solanoid which they advised needs to be replaced to...
All,
I had the tranny rebuilt at a transmission place back in 2010. Fast forward 6 years and the tranny is bad again.
The vehicle had 124k miles when the tranny was rebuilt. The car now has 176k.
Should a rebuilt tranny only last 50k miles??
Here are my options:

My gas and temperature needles do not read accurate.
They vary and either one work temporary and vice versa. Sometimes both needles just drop below E for gas and C for the temperature.
My questions are:
- is there something wrong with the cluster? Can i purchase a replacement and it will fix...
Does anyone have these and can provide us with actual pics and feedback?
