Whats up guys! I have the opportunity to pick up a set of 04 TL Form Function type 2 coilovers for an absolute steal from a friend of mine.
Curious if anyone knows off hand if they would fit, the mounting style all appears to be the same, only think i notice is they seem a bit shorter...
Yes I know there are threads but alot of them are from years ago.
I have the chance of going with a airlift system with airlift struts and a V2 management system. Entire kit for a very good price.
But. Im worried I wont be able to air up much to the point that Im still taking speed bumps...
I know there is many threads on this but I need a 100% confirmation of either yes or no they will fit.
I dont wanna get a sedan kit and the housings be a different size. I know the fixture will be different but ive heard the housings can be interchangeable.
Again.. dont tell me to...
Just be ready for them to want to total it out. Yes you will get a check for the car and then you can buy it back but for the body work and paint it will be up there price wise. Just be ready for it bud.
You would have to pull the tranny out to properly weld it. Youd never get good penetration that would last and you could never stop the leak long enough to clean the area and weld on it without getting crazy contamination and porosity which would end up failing.
Not to mention if i am right...
I will be driving and say I put it into 2nd manually (automatic) and it is about 4000 rpm every once in awhile it almost feels like the car falls flat on its face. its as if its hitting a fuel cut of some sort but it is only for a second and then back to normal.
The other day i was on my way...
