    Correct. The one for the VTEC does not affect the light on the dash.

    Radio shuts off bad wire behind glovebox?

    For the archives I ran a new wire from the passenger side fusebox to the back of the radio. There was a break about 6" up the wire from the fuse box behind the glove box.

    After trouble shooting my vtec system it comes down to a bad ECU. I know if I swap just the ECU I need to have the keys syncd to the ecu at the dealer. Can you swap the imobilizer and the ecu together out of the same car to get by this temporarily? Also when swapping the ECU do the part...

    I think I had to pull the valve cover to pull the upper timing belt cover, so if that is worn you may want to replace that as well. If you don't have the tool to hold the crank you may want to invest in one. Other than that it looks like everything.

    Why are you calling BS on that kit? They make some good stuff for the DSM world. You have any first hand experience or just assuming like most people on the internet? Does the transmission have a seperate computer from the engine ECU? If so where is it located?
