    supercharger.

It might or might not come later...but it shouldn't be that big a difference. I think what you mean is that a big turbo would have a lot of lag..and that's true. And yup that's why people use twin turbos, like the new 335i. It uses 2 small low inertia turbos and they spool almost...

    supercharger.

I don't recall ever saying that superchargers don't boost power...I said they have parasitic drag losses that aren't ideal for use on an I4. The S/C on Mercedes AMG 5.4L motors (past E55, S55, etc 450-500HP) suck 100+HP according to Mercedes/Car and Driver. That means, if they ran a turbo...

    supercharger.

Why would you wanna run a supercharger on an I4...the parasitic losses are way too great for such a small engine, it's not worth it.

What kind of oil do YOU use?

Don't buy Mobil 1 anymore, it's not worth it. Recent oil analysis show that the oil is no longer performing like it used to, indicating a switch from a GpIV to a GpIII base stock. For the price they make you pay that's ridiculous. Pennzoil Platinum full synthetic has been getting just as good...

    uhmmm...

If you would have read it you would have seen that there are other people who have tried acetone. So much ado over nothing...didn't even bother to read it just to improve your own knowledge

    Timing belt noise?

    There's one, not sure if the V6 runs a single or double belt, I4 runs 2 - 1 PS 1 alt/comp

    uhmmm...

I personally tried it and I can't say that it made enough of an improvement to justify the risk of destroying all the rubber seals, IM/EM gaskets, head gasket, etc Note that on that tank I got 29.41MPG. Even though I said that on that particular tank I should have gotten 26-27MPG, my average...

Check your heat shields and all the rubber hangers and other mounts.

    Timing belt noise?

All the belts are located in a cluster together so it's hard to tell which one it is. Check your accessory belt tensions first. When I changed my belts sometimes I would get a squeal when I turned on AC so it was kinda obvious which one was at fault. If you need to figure out how much 22lbf...

    rain x

Most waxes you buy off the store shelves have cleaners in them, so when you apply them all the wax underneath is just stripped off. This includes waxes that don't say cleaner wax: Meguiars NXT line, Gold Class both have mild cleaners. "Speed" or "Spray" wax should never be your primary wax...

    rain x

Here's a few you can try instead of Rain-X if you want something easier than a traditional wax/glaze/sealant...I personally don't believe in any of these but I've heard people use them and liked them. I definitely would not try the 2nd one though...just FYI...

    Seafoam!!!

What happened to the good old Italian tuneup? How'd you get it into the engine, did you pour it into the crankcase or just feed it thru the PCV?
