    Just an update. Coolant was leaking into cyl 1 and 2 which was causing the issues.

    I cleaned the EGR valve this weekend and the hot start issue seem to went away. Still misfire at idle sometimes. I also now getting intermittent P0325 code. I guess ill need to get a new know sensor now. I'll update if it comes back.

    hi gt58, sparkplugs was replaced along with cap and rotor. Issue still remains. Also was told by someone to start car with wide open throttle so i press the gas pedal while starting the car and it starts right up without sputtering.

    Its an aftermarket system. The OEM alarm is engaged when you lock the doors with the remote as you said. I don't have any issues unlocking the doors with the remote when the car is remote started.

    Found a diagram of the multiplex control unit (door). Looks like i need to tap the BLK/RED and BLU wire so it will unlock and disarm.

    i installed a remote starter for my 2001 accord coupe. I tap the ORANGE (-) wire on the passenger fuse box which i believe is the passenger's door key cylinder unlock switch and that unlocks both driver and passenger doors. I am trying to find the wire to tap for the driver's door key cylinder...

    Hey, I'm trying to diag a P1382 code. I reset the ecm (by disconnecting the ground from the battery) and the code went away. But when i drive it for about 10 miles the code comes back. Does this mean the distributor is bad or can it be something else. I'm trying to avoid buying a new distributor...
