Serious Damage - Rebuilding of my baby

My advice is go to an auto auction. Our cars with higher milage go through there for 300-700 dollars all the time. There is one in barrie every weekend. Use all parts possible out of that car, then take it to the wreckers.

Serious Damage - Rebuilding of my baby

I have had bad success with them in canada. Ordered items on two seperate occasions where they say "in stock" on the website. Then I get an email saying they actually don't have them. Then I get a phone call from California asking if I would like a different brand of the same part... Both...

    Engine Burning Oil (New)

I had the exact same issue. After replacing the engine from the Japanese engine place off Keele St and Lawrence, I still burn oil over 4000rpm. My buddy tells me I smoke at high rpms when he is behind me. But I still get 800+kms on the highway, 650+ kms in city per tank. My advice, save your...

Thanks for responding so quick. I was thinking of putting some fibreglass mesh on the underside and then pouring the epoxy in it, then maybe even gluing a piece of wood or something on the underside to reinforce. I will let you know if it works. Maybe even a DIY.

Hey, did you ever fix your cracked driver door armrest? If so, how? I both mine are shot, and I was thinking of using a plastic bonding agent. Trying to find someone who may have experience fixing them. Dealership wants 75 a side.

What'd you do to your accord today?

My driver door would barely open some times, so I went with some grease, and searched where it was sticking... Turns out it is the vertical seal beside the window that was catching. 1 swipe with a greasy finger, and it opens like new. Amazing how basic of a fix can help such a major pain.:shakehead:

WTB: Driver Side Arm Rest Assembly Coupe Grey Cloth

I am seeing if I can find the arm rest assembly for the driver side door panel. Grey cloth for my 01 coupe. I'm hoping you leather swappers may have it kickin around. The arm rest itself, and the actual plastic "cup" used to pull the door shut. Thanks guys.
