I've read that a 7th gen accord front strut bar will fit our 6th gen accords. Is this true? Does this mean all aftermarket 7th gen front strut bars will fit our 6th gen accords too?
Thanks again guys. I went with Koni Yellows and Ground Kontrols. Great setup for daily driving. No too stiff (this can be adjusted with Konis) good for daily, and stiff enough for gaining sporty and responsive feel. Also got SPC front and rear camber kit to straightening things out...
Re: If your not running an Espelir JGT500R Catback, then what are you guys/gals runni
Just wanted to make sure the word was spread to help all of our 6th geners. And HKS exhaust? Well I expect no less. They make good stuff. Glad to hear your exhaust is holding up.
Interesting stress...

So far I am planning to AEM v2 CAI. Really what else is there for I4 as far as power? Header? I feel like I4's are limited in bolt-on's. Turbo kit? Kinda costly. At this point, just trying to make my DD...
Re: Anyone have experience with an Espelir JGT500R Catback Exhaust System?
Thanks, but seems like a lot of trouble. I am in CA, and I can get it new picked up for $323. If it doesn't look good, ok. But any sort of workmanship input? Must look like sh*t then to have such low to zero...
Does anyone have any personal experience with the Espelir JGT500R Catback Exhaust System, especially on our 6thGen 4-Cylinder Accords. I am considering their exhaust for my 2000 Honda Accord EX, F23A4, 5spd.
So far, I've researched and found they are a little loud, come with a silencer...
I've checked the product reviews section of this forum and some others, including google and only found the reviews above worth citing. Does anyone have anything to say about Buddy Club Racing Spec coilovers or JIC Magic FLT-TAR A2 coilovers? Do you guys know anyone with these on their 98-02...
Thanks a lot guys. I would've made a big mistake. Forums rock!:omgbd:
I am not going to get the tanabe s-oc and increase the spring rates to 10kg/mm and 6kg/mm (8kg/mm & 4kg/mm) nor will I get the ksports and decrease the rates to 10kg/mm and 6kg/mm (from 12kg/mm & 7kg/mm).
I am either...
so what if the strut is valved for a greater spring rate and I go lower, say from 12kg/mm to 10kg/mm what is the effect on stiffness?
AND
what if the strut is valved for a lower spring rate and I go higher, say from 8kg/mm up to 10kg/mm what is the effect on stiffness?
I've got a question concerning custom spring rates. Is there a difference between getting coilovers with 12kg/mm and then having them customized to a decreased 10kg/mm as opposed to having 8kg/mm coilovers customized to an increased 10kg/mm?
I know the kg/mm result in the same amount however...
Hello Everyone @ 6th Gen Accord!
I just got my second 6th Gen Accord, this time a dark Green 2000 5spd. I love this car.
I hope to learn a lot, meet some people, show off a little, and improve overall performance.
See Everyone around,
John
