Looking for new sub setup

I need trunk space too, so I think I'm gonna go with:

but not sure what amp to pair it with... and what gauge wiring i would need etc.

for what your trying to install. zero gauge is overkill. also i'd recommend at least a 12 in any woofer you get unless its in the higher end because the 10 will not have enough output due to the size of our trunks.

but if your just looking for a lil thump it'll all work.

just get a cheaper amp kit.

what are you expecting out of this setup your looking for?

Im looking for a nicr setup with nice clean bass. I listen to electronic.

I also value trunk space which is why i need something slim (like the sony i chose).

Would two of them do the job? And then id need a 2ch amp right?

I already upgrded the interior speakers to sony xplods directly wired to my jvc deck. Is it worth the time/money to amp the speakers with like a 5-6ch amp

electronic has some heavy bass to it. are you looking to do a vented or sealed box. with a vented box you dont need that much power. also its always good to look at the rms the sub can handle and try to mach it up to the amp. also a 0/1 guage is over kill. you can get a good 4 guage kit for 50-60 bucks. i use to work at a stereo shop a few years back.

Band wagon-er lol

the only sub I like from JL is the W6. The other ones are meh....

Sa-10s are pretty nice and are way less than JLs and the other high end brands.

give the w7 some respect sir. i just put 3 of them in a silverado. and it hurts the gonads.
