LED footwells

so i i replaced all the oem bulbs with led bulbs doors,map,dome,trunk light etc. felt like i needed more light so i decided to led the footwells came out a lil like this

Damn that's bright, definitely good lighting but I think I'd want it a little dimmer.

They sell adjustable brightness dimmer switch for the led strips.

Here is a video of a custom brightness dial installed on some led panel by Chris on his 4 Runner.

that's pretty cool, i wanted to do something like that as well.

How do the lights activate? door open or a switch?

i'll need to find a diy on this unless you could shed some advice :D

I tried looking up how to wire them to the courtesy lights but couldn't really find any info so I just wired them straight to the dome light so they only turn on when the doors are open there's a plug on your right side fuse box. It's a plug that has about 4 wires running to them negative is black and white positive is blue and white tap into those two unless you want them ran differently and it should work
