new hood suggestions

my hood has some cosmetic damage and i was thinking about replacing it.

a local junkyard has a brand new capa certified hood for $135.

is that a good deal?

it is primered and ready for paint.

how much would it cost to have it painted (black w/clear coat)?

135 for hood, then 150-200 for paint job. go CF.

I got my Heather Mist Sedan painted there and they did a really good job so I'm not sure what your information is based on. He's just getting one part painted. They can do it in a day, and it's got a waranty for 5 years.

If you want I'll sell you my hood, which is brand new in october with fresh paint, for $200

where are you at?

i think trying to ship it might not be worth my while.

maybe i'll just take a can of spraypaint to it.

i'm not into the carbon fiber look. it's too "wanna-be-racer" for me.

why not just sand the crap out of your current hood and have it re-painted????

cheaper and easy

CF i snot wanna be racer......it looks great as hell and it does a very good job of lightening the car haha, although its also like 450-600 bucks compared to the 300 ur gonna pay....
