imo, a rat style car has to be a few things...
1. old school chassis...boxy, maybe flip up headlights...like 20-25+ years old because...
2. ...it has to look like it was picked out of a barn or field.
3. should be unintentional. nice paint + rusted hood = poseur
that said...i am a fan of wide steelies.

the VW crowd has made this "style" what it is, i think that there are some cars that look amazing like this, but they are few and far between.

im not really diggin the rusted hood, the taped over headlight, the 20 air freshners, the rear camber, the napa hat, and the cow shifter, hahaha. 
I think it looks alright without the hood. Also i don't see an intercooler?
i wear skinnies...

i saw this car the first time a while ago. i really really like the look of it, it definitely has character. though, i do think all that camber is a bit much haha. itd look better, imo, with maybe a degree or two less, but then of course, the wheels wouldnt fit lol.
