"Click this bar to view the full image" issue

Why is it that every time I click on the bar, the picture always has to load onto a new tab/window?

It's not at all user friendly. Most of the time on other sites, it just re-sizes to its original size on the same page, so you don't have to constantly open and close tabs.

It's incredible annoying and a waste of time.

I just used the wood from the world's smallest violin to build a dam for the river you just cried.

It's annoying for maybe five seconds the first time, but then you accept it.

x2 on the image resizer, happened to me on some other forums, just turn it off

better yet, tailor the image resizer to your screen (remembering the additional forum borders on the sides) and then you only have to click images if you want the full size. i rarely, if ever, desire to see a pic bigger than 1000px or so on its widest side.

you can disable the image resizer if you want.

what's more annoying is when people don't resize pictures and it jacks up the forum view.

especially 3500px wide cell phone pics, in "night mode" :ugh:

my "wide" resizer is 1010px, height is 1075 on a 1280x800 screen. width-wise, i never have to side scroll.

i just click using the mousewheel because i hate waiting for the page to reload when i click "back" so when im done with the picture i just close it and im back to my previous page just like that...so maybe im wrong here but it's better with tabs:poke:
