here's what I do....

1. take some sort of sprayer from an old bottle... make sure to clean it good
2. stick the sprayer into the PS reservoir and spray out everything into a plastic bag/ bottle/ bucket or anything tht can hold liquid

3. once empty, fill up the reservoir with new fluid
4. drive the car like normal and repeat steps 1-3 after a week
5. do this abt 3 or 4 times and u'll have fresh PS fluid in the system

1. put hose in.
2. suck other end of hose.
3. pull out before you get a mouth load.

Sorry, to bring back such an old thread but I had a few questions...
How often should power steering fluid be changed?
How many bottles of new fluid does the reservoir hold?
Should I be concerned about air getting into the reservoir, since the cap looks caved in like there's no air inside the reservoir?

Its ok bro thats what 6thgen is all about.
IMO power steering should be changed every 50,000 for normal fluid or 100,000 miles for "high life". But you can never go wrong with what the manufacturer suggests. If your fluid is darker than normal then its time to change it.
The reservoir holds 0.4 L
There shouldn't be any problems of air getting into the system if they do occur just bleed it out.
