Re: What the F.C.U.K. is this! Who ate my escargot!?
Yeah, zhizn is more understandable.
So I am using a P28 chipped ECU from Xenocron, and also a Xenocron harness. I will be tuning with Crome. Using Denso 480cc flowmatched, flowtested injectors refurbished by my friend Mark at Deatschwerks, here in Oklahoma City.
Brought oil pan to get tapped today, and will pick it up tomorrow. A lot of the parts I just sourced very easily such as oil line adapters at Ace hardware, and the bung for oil pan also at Ace. I got a hole drilled by a local machine shop, and it is getting welded from the inside by a friend of mine. The reason for the inside weld if because there is not enough room on the outside to weld it and retain needed threads.
Other Sh*t:
Turbonetics T-15396 Turbocharger
T04E
57 Trim
0.63 AR
5-bolt exhaust side flange
Cast iron log-type manifold, intake cone filter (which will be substituted for velocity stack and fine mesh filter in future). Tial 38mm wastegate. Blitz Dual Drive blow-off valve. Custom Fabricated Dump Tube, a bit larger in diameter than stock. Walbro 255 lph pump. Megan Racing fuel pressure regulator. DSM low impedance resistor box. Blox racing oil sandwich adapter. Golden Eagle vacuum manifold. I also have all needed components for OBD1 conversion. NXS manual boost controller.
I still need to fab up the exhaust.
I got it all planned out to the dot, and the only thing that I can forsee impeding my progress is if an exhaust manifold stud snaps off in the block while taking off OEM manifold.
I do have one simple question, if anyone knows. I will be running NGK V-Power copper plugs. I believe they are 1-step colder. What should those suckers be gapped to? I know the gap needs to be smaller than what they are pregapped at for a stock setup.
