my local exhaust guy did the flex pipe in my wife's Camry for $70 out the door.

Mufflers are usually about the same price, that's parts and labor.

Find a decent exhaust shop and don't get hosed.

this whole story sound wrong. like everyone said muffler shop is the way to go. You dont need a catalytic converter the engine check light will be on throw a code (forgot the code but its same shiet for every car). Hottexhaust.com sells Magnaflow CA Legal catylitic converter for around $300 and muffler shop will charge $40 to put the 6 bolts on.

yea i might just have to take it to a muffler shop...my friend has a place in New York... but hey check this out...does it look tooo good to be true..they have similar items like that....should i trust Ebay with this type of parts?

Yes, yes it is. That exhaust will sound like its price: cheap.

get the exhaust shop to fab up 2.25 inch piping with a resonator and a good muffler. Look at HKS, Apexi, Vibrant, or Greddy for some good muffler options
