02 leather seats on a 99?

Would an 02 leather seats fit a 99? The seller said it would and the driver's seat just needs to be wired up. My 99 doesn't have power seats(s). The 02 has power seat(s). I was wondering how complicated it would be to switch over. Sorry if it has been mentioned before, I read some threads on leather seat change, but not something to my year.

so basically take seats out and put the leathers seats in? what about the wires for the power?

switch the rails which means that you'll use the rails from the 99 cloth seat, which also means that you will loose the side air bag and the 8 way power....but hey, you'll have leather
