Let me know what you going to be doing to the motor. I plan on building a H22 turbo in the near future. What transmission are you using?

The block is sleeved and it has 10 to 1 forged pistons. The head and crank are stock. The tranny is my original F23 5 speed with a Quaife LSD in it.

Good luck! Good thing the block is sleeved.. H22's aren't as boost friendly as F23's due to their naturally occurring higher compression ratio.

Yeah man, I know the H22's don't like boost much on the stock block hence why I had it sleeved. I should be posting numbers this coming week.

no head work? You aren't going to be over-revving this high are you with stock valvetrain?

Looks good so far, good choice on turbo too!

No head work. The shop recommended that I leave the stock head components alone since they're more than capable of handling up to 8k of revs, which is the highest I'd take it to. The problem with the H22 and revving high is not with the head, it's in the bottom end but since mine has been built it won't be a problem.

That is true, no power gains past 8k anyway.
