2.3L exhaust question

i have ceramic headers straight piped all the way to a magnaflow 6in canister muffler and it makes a raspy sound around 3k rpm. any suggestions on how to correct the problem. i.e. resonator or something????

Welll not having a cat is your first issue. You gain zero power and do a lot of polluting when you just run a test pipe. You need a cat and a resonator.

What brand of HEADER are you running?

trust me there is a big difference in power with out a cat. and its ebay ceramic header

Resonater might help, vibrant makes good ones.you have a really big muffler too.maybe just try resonater first.

Ya you definitely feel the difference with strait pipe.better throttle response.

Some of it,but cat delete with naturally make it raspy.you should look into a vibrant flat black exhaust.i heard it on a h22lude.sounded mean!!
