Hello, anyone got an idea? Pass side, near " firewall", there's smoke when the surface is hot after a drive. Not a ton. Not like the steam of overheating, for example. I was thinking oil from the valve cover gasket, coolant squeaking out somewhere. But its a relatively clear and odorless fluid: I think it's power steering fluid. I found it sitting in the bracket that holds that big PS line at the top of the rear valve cover. Hot surface below that area is where the smoke comes from. Maybe a pin hole in that rubber PS line that squirts out?
Any similar experiences or ideas are welcome, thank you. Oh, 140,000 miles, runs nice, I put a rebuilt tranny in it a few years ago. Thanks!
