#5 is the most well known pro paintball player. They were practicing on a side field and I went out and shot one of their games, and just so happened to get a ball breaking on his mask. Probably a 1 in 10k shot to get that. Too back he was half shadow, half bright sun, so it came out looking pretty crappy

Doesn't look half bad considering the lighting.
These shots are AMAZING though. Makes me want to go shoot a paintball match just to get the splatter
Which lens was it exactly?All were shot with the Canon 70-200 2.8 IS
In the past year I've taken well over 10k photos and gotten maybe 1 or 2 "splat" shots, and none even close to as "good" as the ones in this post. I must have had good timing/luck this event because I got quite a few that I liked. I did take a LOT of pictures over the 3 day event

Damnit, I need this lens.
But I want a Tokina 11-16 2.8 and some Aleinbees goodies... ahhh decisions.
Amazing work man, keep it up! Are you charging to do the event coverage? Or do you go there on your own and then sell prints/CDs of the pictures afterwards? Just wondering how you work.
