I'm gonna be honest here. Sony Xplod is low end. Period.

A component system would be your best option if you don't want to go with subs, there are some 6" and 8" ones available. I would suggest the 6" 3-way.

I believe someone on here is selling the kickpods as well, which is where you would mount the 6" speaker of the 3-way set.

i have never had problems with kicker products. their amps put out more wattage than what they advertise and the cvx's and l7's are excellent subs.

Kicker has some low-end products, their square subs are fail, and if anyone argues about that, you don't know ANYTHING. hahaha

The CVX are some nice subs and their amps put out their rated power.

compared to other subs in their price range. not to a w7 or anything like that. dont get me wrong, i havent heard every sub on the market.

and i think square subs are good if you want an assload of spl and could care less about sq

a quick search put the 12" around $200. could probably find cheaper

For $200 Id get Sound Splinter, DD 1508, or IDQ. Kicker L7s are better made for ash trays and bird baths. :tgf:
