4cyl header question

Has anyone taken the bracket off the oem down pipe that attachedit to the block and welded it to the aftermarket one? I beleive that's why mine is hanging so low.

My header came w/ that bracket it didn't line up very well but it had it. I had 2 put all the bolts in loose then tighten every thing up 2 get it all 2 go together.

mine came with the hanger but not the bracket that holds it to the block

Mine came with the hangar but I never hooked it up. I just bolted everything together tightly and it didn't hang low at all.
