96 accord lx temp issue

having issues with my temp gauge going up on half and sometimes above but not near the red mark only on idle (park), weird part about it the car shows no signs of overheating only engine hesitation and slight rough idling. I think it might be the temp sensor, but i heard this car has more than one which one should i change? also the thermostat was replaced last April with the heater hose after it burst on me but i don't think that could be the issue right now or is it?

so are you saying it overheats when you're at idle and it cools down when the car's moving?

Yes the temp gauge will go up on park only and once I switch to drive and take off the temp gauge will slowly fall. I havent seen any signs of overheating the engine remains cool so do the hoses.

fans work properly and do turn on before it reaches half
the fans do turn on more regularly during driving and yes i burped the system
when I installed the t-stat and heater hose.

well I decided to just buy the temp sensor I think its the one by the radiator.
so is this the right one because I think there is one called the sender sensor so
let know so I know I ordered the right one.

nvm, i ordered it after getting help from another forum suggesting to change it after i tested the thermostat which was in working order, guess help is hard to find around here nowadays .
