98 front bumper to 01 front bumper

hey guys havn't been on the forum in a while due to selling my car haha but my friend just picked up a 98 V6 coupe. hes wondering if he picks up a 2001 front bumper is it just plug and play? or is there fitment issues? lmk if anything! thanks!
