Yea I I know you have to do the fit your self. I have seen on I believe was the TRS website (not sure) that they sold retrofit kits. I'll have to do more research on them cause im not the best in the wiring department. I can do radios and sub's never tried anything else electrical lol

If you can wire an HID kit, you can wire a retrofit. IMO Retro is the only way to go HID. The difference is night and day. :lawl: No pun intended.

TRS has quality products and great customer service. Since this is your first retro fit I would recommend getting mini H1, they are very easy to install and require minimal/no cutting of your oem headlight.

oh and as for your original question OEM ballast are the best out there. Some of the better ones include Denso, Matsu****a and Hella.
