a little help with side skirts

Hey i recently bought a full OEM lip kit, i got the front lip to install without too much hassle
but my side skirts seem to be slightly(around one cm) too small length wise
they almost go on, what do i need to do to make them fit?

can we assume this rep kit is urethane right? Never heard of terrible fitment issues on the FRP

1 cm is enough to be annoying but not a true problem, unless the thing is solid steel. which we all know it's not.

If they are the FRP one's and you did get it from www.oemlip.com in Quebec, then here's your problem: (Taken Straight from their own website)

-MADE IN FLEX FRP(FLEX FIBER GLASS)
-**the side skirts replica need to be installed on the original side skirts for more support,and you need to cut 1/4 inch on the original one,on the front of them**
