Got an AEM big rotor kit on here this week, found out it was the wrong kit and how I'm correcting the issue. The PN engraved onthe rotor is 32-5006... I have no idea what the kit fits, but the rotors fit perfect, the relocating brackets bolt up to the knuckles perfect, the caliper brackets however, will not reach the relocating brackets because the rotor is too big. I'm making the assumption that it's 92-96 Prelude kit, so in order to make it work, I picked up some 99 Prelude calipers and Adaptive One pads.
Stock I4 rotor vs. 13" AEM rotor
Fresh reman Prelude calipers with brackets and a set of Napa Adaptive One pads.
Here's where you're going to hate me...
Big rotor kit... $272 shipped from Socal
Complete "new" Prelude calipers... $52 my cost (you would've paid $156 )
Napa Adaptive One pads... $45 (you would've paid $108)
So my "misfortune" has only led me into a $100 caliper swap/upgrade... if they fit.
Update:
Prelude calipers fit perfect, painting them black this weekend and then I put them on for real this time. Here's a few teasers:
