I'm selling it because i got a new intake that's wrapped in carbon fiber and looks much better then the polished aem intake.

VS

And i haven't had any issues starting my car with the short ram or the cold air intake i used to have. The last couple winters it regularly hit below 0, and the coldest i had to start my car in last winter was -12 and it just took a couple extra seconds but that's normal in really cold weather.

Where did you get the carbon fiber tube from?????:jawdrop::jawdrop:
It looks nice.

It randomly popped up in a search on ebay last week.
they wanted 60 for it, offered 45 shipped and they accepted it.
It didn't look that nice when i bought it. I had to wet sand and re clear it then wet sand and polish the clear.
Here's how it looked before

I installed the air intake yesterday. The OEM hoses are a little too short to reach the tube.

After 1h and $4.11 later, i can re-route all the hoses.

The air intake doesn't come with support so i found some extra aluminum siding holder, thrill one hole and attach it to the body.

After the installation, the car sounds different. The drone noise when start up and over 2.5k RPM sounds great but i haven't noticed any different either in HP or MPG.
I'll try it for a week and see how it turns out.
Has anyone ever experienced with burn oil ???

Im not sure what your asking... you mean "burning oil after CAI installation"?

That definitely isn't something ive ever experienced after using Injen and AEM CAI's. There had to be a prior issue unless something mayve gotten sucked up into the IM.
